The question should not be what makes fat people fat. The question is, how and why can slim people eat all they want and get no exercise but they permanently maintain an ideal weight and without any special efforts

calorie in/calorie out is not true. Slim people can eat all they want and the body mysteriously eliminates any excess

If what you say was true, then obesity would not exist. Nobody would continue to eat and eat themselves into obesity, and assuming they did or they could, then all they would have to do is eat less and the weight would magically fall away overnight. About 35 years ago, there was documented scientific research with conclusive proof that (1) Dietary excess is NOT the cause of obesity (2) Dietary reductions do NOT produce a corresponding, substantial or permanent loss of weight

I totally agree that this guy finds MCAS totally confusing and offers zero testing and only minimal therapy, drugs only. MCAS is associated with COVID. Dr. John Campbell has a great MCAS podcast ua-cam.com/video/Q6JyS-vsl3s/v-deo.html Dr. Anderson is also very good. Start with the GUT, watch out for food allergies [usually something you love to eat, your comfort food], Vit C and bioflavonoids and polyphenols, eat a rainbow

I wonder if more attention being paid to vagus nerve suppression from compression as often seen around C1/C2 after a trauma, thereby reducing the regulation process of the parasympathetic nervous system could not be a key to understanding these overactive sympathetic nervous system responses, this is not usually ever checked in my experience, but it seems like something we should at least consider to my layman’s thinking.

So 17 to 20% of people have this, and you are treating but not finding out what causes it??? ..ElectroMagnetic Frequencies (EMF). That is why it is such a recent malady...It is ElectroMagnetic Sensitivity....Cell phones, cell towers, all things wireless, which is ALL over...you can't get away from it. It sets histamine off. I've known this since I was poisoned in 2006/07. Keep away from wireless devices and the symptoms GO Away. So your doctors are giving meds, and telling them to watch their food, and not taking care of the cause...Wireless. I had all those symptoms. I don't anymore. I live now in a house without wireless devices and not in an area that is poisoned with electromagnetic frequencies. WHY aren't you looking at the elephant. WHY do you think that man made radiation does nothing negative? The reason it 'seems to run in families' is that families living in the same home have the same devices., and EMF attack your weakest part of your system, be it stomach or head or ? Women suffer from EHS more than men. My menses stopped, my hair fell out, I got huge rashes, vertigo, anxiety, chronic fatigue, nose bleeds, IBS, arthritis, within three months of moving into a hillside house that was being bombarded with ElectroMagnetic Frequencies. I had been fine before moving into this house. No history of any of this. I became more and more sensitive. Doctors in Germany diagnosed EHS. After shielding, I Now Have No Symptoms if I stay away from all wireless. This is a massive human non consenting experiment. Thousands of peer reviewed studies, many government studies. (Dr. Magda Havas, Dr. Martin Pall, Dr. Olle Johanssen, Dr. Horst Eger....) The only way to diagnose is through abstinence of all EMF for a couple weeks. .

My daughter seems to have so many of the symptoms and we have only recently clued into MCAS. She approached her family physician and sadly this woman had no idea what the disease was. She sent her for a blood test and the results of that one test said she didn’t have the syndrome. She is frustrated . I too believe that my symptoms have improved through eliminating all histamine rich foods. I take an anti histamine now every day and many of my symptoms have subsided.

I am also sensitive to olive oil, wheat and scallops. You might be surprised as to what your body hates. I also got a Dutch test. My estrogen, progesterone and testosterone are in the tank. I also got 4 colonics, electro lymphatic treatments and ozone treatmemts. If you have MS I beg you to do a UA-cam video: Dr. Howard Liebowitz/Ozone/MS.

i am not medically trained but my wife is a doctor who doesn't practice any more she asks for my advice as i am constantly researching etc, i have a hypothesis and i am hoping to find medically trained people that can prove it in relation to mcas and long COVID . and vaccine side effects etc, when i was a young child i was a healthy child until around 11 years old i was hit by a car and received a damaged brain i still to this day have a bruise on my brain i cant spell remember names or dates etc but my brain works very different to most people it find clues or bits of puzzles and puts them together it hard to explain really, anyhow my hypothesis is mcas is a neurological condition it works on the same pathway as nicotine caffeine and vitamin b1 etc for some reason i think the biogenic amines in food are interfering with the never signalling in the autonomic nervous system etc how i come to this idea is i went 2 stories high and landed on my head , i got hay fever allergies etc after , then in my early twenties i had another accident and received bad whiplash which has damaged the discs etc in my neck , there are studies showing that neck injuries cause mcas symptoms etc, now i spent nearly 30 years doing everything i could to heal my gut you name it i have tried it, since eating only beef lamb and salt and water my diet was so clean i could add things back in one at a time different chemicals stimulate different nerves which create different symptoms in different body parts etc any way i added coffee back in my diet and reacted to it so i looked for caffeine retaliated to nerves system , etc i tried nicotine chewing gum as nicotine helps with the half life of caffeine in the body but in my case i got worse so i look at nicotine pathway etc, i found that coffee and nicotine both deplete thiamine b1 in the body , so i started to look into thiamine etc , it was used for treatment for seriously ill COVID patients and nicotine was used to treat COVID as well and smokers didn't get seriously ill from COVID so then i looked into ivermectin effects on the nervous system and you guessed it , now after my neck injury i developed psoriasis and gilberts syndrome neither of these are in my family yet are suppose to run in families i have healed both now how is that possible as i was told that cant happen. i had psoriasis for a few years i took selenium and milk thistle and it cleared up over a year or so my liver test still showed i was jaundice and you could see this in my eyes and skin etc my doctor wife would always point it out etc, just after i cleared that up the psoriasis, i got glandular fever which really effected my energy levels etc but i wasn't to bad that went on for 2 years then i got really ill and had every test they could think of they couldn't work out what was going on they gave up and sent me to a endocrinologist it was there i learnt that i had contracted the mumps and learnt about amines in food etc since going on a meat diet and drinking chlorine dioxide i never get yellow or have bowel problems or yellow stools etc which was a daily thing for me for decades also as the years went by i would be sitting on the toilet and saliva would pour out of my mouth with the pain from my bowels i have read that this is from the nervous system, lately i have been taking b1 supplements and it seems to be helping with my nerves etc as i still get pain in my left side from my neck, so i believe that COVID is a bio weapon that effects the nervous system as i have read that the same symptoms can be achieved by the nervous system and spinal injuries to the neck can cause mast cell activation . now i am not claiming that every person with mcas has had a tbi or i neck injury but i believe viruses are damaging the nervous system some how this part i cant work out as i am not a doctor that can run tests on people , maybe they deplete vitamins and minerals etc as i have researched that the modern diet eg carbs block the absorption of b1 as well so if people have low levels by our modern diet then get a virus which puts the system under stress maybe this could be enough to create a chronic condition etc, wishing you and your family all the best by the way don't ever let your daughter get morphine i died on the operating table from it maybe this is why i was sent back ?

Here's my story... I'm about 90% healed from MCAS, that had me full blown chronic iopathic urticaria daily and only was able to eat 5 things. Took about 1 month to heal myself. I'm up to 2 adult scoops of the D-Lactate Free Probiotics powder. I started out slow because I was that ill. I cured myself, y'all! 52 years of not getting diagnosed correctly and doctors trying to give me pharmaceuticals to put a band-aid on the problem. I studied for 4 years to try to heal myself. I was sick and tired of my eyes being swollen shut and not being able to drink or eat anything. Heal your gut and quit this insanity!

@sharlene4mylife I found this man. He is not a doctor, but he is more knowledgeable than any doctor I've seen in 52 years! This is from his website.... Harry Bronozian CUSTOM PROBIOTICS Inc, established in 1999, was developed by Harry Bronozian, a chemist and chemical engineer, who personally suffered from Helicobacter Pylori, the bacteria that causes ulcers. After years of trying different probiotic supplements, Mr. Bronozian formulated his own multi-strain high-potency probiotic formula. Within a few months of using his own custom probiotic supplement, he discovered that the H. Pylori was under control. After eight months of use, an endoscopy and biopsy concluded that Mr. Bronozian had eliminated H. Pylori from his system. I called him and told him my symptoms, and he recommended the D-Lactate Free Probiotics powder. His business is at 2947 Honolulu Ave, Glendale, California. I really believe he can help! I'm back to eating and drinking most things!!! I wish you all healing and good health!!!

oh my goodness, spontaenous idiopathic chronic urticaria was my diagnosis until i saw an FM Doctor who diagnosed with MCAS and i can hands down recommend watching this video: ua-cam.com/video/n4h_gQzcCKc/v-deo.html and checking out Mast Cell Matters podcast. I spent 12 years trying to heal myself, ending up on the FM route and whilst i am relatively symptom free nowadays with the occasional attack (mine is stress, pressure and temperatiure and alcohol as well as white bread and other things triggers mine - a long route of elimination is hard when it can be triggered by temperature!), its nice to be able to actually look at the reason and how to heal. circadian health (getting out in morning for UVA/UVB light) Blocking blue light (viva rays), red light supplementation to boost mitochrondrial function (EMR-Tek panel) have worked for me. I am looking into toxaprevent and quercetin following recommendations from an FM pathway not used those yet though!

When I was a kid, starting about age 9, all the way through young adulthood, I had a very mysterious and severe itching syndrome. An allergist chalked it up to contact dermatitis, but that’s not what it was, because while it was triggered by certain things, it would also occur despite known triggers. I would get so itchy all over my body, with redness and welts, it looked like I was whipped. it was worse at night, and would even keep me awake at times. I was prescribed Seldane for years until Claritin came about. Now, as a middle-aged adult, I rarely get that anymore. However, I do have IBS with diarrhea, and I wonder if I have MCAS given this fact and my history. I’m also very sensitive to scents, smells, and chemicals. Also, I seem to be very sensitive to alcohol, which makes me feel very drowsy and pretty much useless, and for a long time after consumption.

Thank you for an important discussion. I believe the skin is one way our body is giving us signs. I always get what I call psoriasis on my right index finger and thumb when I eat too much gluten. I normally avoid all grains. Recently I'm getting the same symptom, so I'm trying to track down the cause since I know it isn't gluten. What do the doctors think about Lume deodorant? Could mandelic acid disrupt my skin's microbiome? Thank you!
